Coming to the Bassin d'Arcachon, it is impossible to miss the traditional oyster tasting, accompanied by a good Bordeaux wine of course! Most of the fish offered in restaurants come straight from the auction.
In Lanton, 15km from the Aux Couleurs du Ferret campsite, you will find the Potager de Lanton the opportunity for you to fill your basket with products grown on site & in season. They also offer a picking garden, especially blueberries! A true delight !
For a 100% local aperitif, some oysters from the Bassin d'Arcachon, some fish spreads from the Ambroisie cannery, smoked trout toast from Fumette, all accompanied by a local beer from the Mira brewery!

Thanks to its 220km of cycle paths, Le Bassin d'Arcachon offers you a multitude of cycle routes for the whole family. Thus, you can leave your vehicle at the campsite, and join the cycle path located just opposite to set off to conquer Cap Ferret and its surroundings aboard your bicycle!

RESPECT BEACHES AND NATURAL AREAS !

During your outings on our beautiful beaches, it is always ideal to remember to bring a small trash bag in your beach bag.
Indeed, many visitors leave their rubbish on the beaches... So to make the most of the natural spaces that are available to you for a long time to come, do not hesitate during your idleness sessions to pick up the rubbish that you may encounter on your way. The same is true for walks in natural areas (Piraillan reservoirs, Prés Salés nature reserve, etc.) where you will find marked trails. For a question of preservation of the environment, everyone is asked to use these trails only, as well as to respect the regulations put in place !

NO HOLIDAYS FOR SORTING MY WASTE !

And yes, even on vacation, we continue the good habits!
At the Aux Couleurs du Ferret campsite in Lège-Cap-Ferret, waste is sorted. The yellow bin is used to collect anything that can be recycled, the black bin is for household waste, and the blue bin for glass. A compost bucket can be given to you on arrival for any holidaymaker wishing to participate!
The compost collected helps to nourish the rich vegetation that surrounds you. Why deprive yourself of it?
