A little boat ride for the whole family!

The UBA offers organized and fully commented excursions, every day in season, departing from the Cap-Ferret, Canon or Andernos pier. The boat tours will allow you to discover in simplicity and conviviality the Bassin d'Arcachon seen from the water:
The oyster huts, the bird island, the oyster beds, the fishing villages of Cap Ferret, the Pilat dune, the peninsula.

In this way, you combine pleasure of navigation and cultural discovery of the Bassin d'Arcachon!

Also come and discover the Bassin d'Arcachon aboard its typical boats, pinnace and barge.

All year round, embark with the oyster farmers & fishermen of the Bassin d'Arcachon to share their daily life for a day!

Children's pirouettes on the Pilat dune:

Discover the south of the Arcachon basin as a family by taking the maritime shuttles:
From Cap-Ferret to Andernos, the shuttles will drop you off in the center of Arcachon and on the Dune du Pilat (depending on the season)

Children and adults will love climbing the 102m high of the largest dune in Europe. In order to hurtle down it by running or rolling!

There is no doubt that the panorama that is offered to you will amaze the whole family, that is why it is one of the essential and favorite activities of the Bassin d'Arcachon: Ile aux oiseaux and Banc d'Arguin are emerging in front of you according to the seasons.

Children will love the forest:

Come and have fun at Robin Hood in the 3 accro-branches close to the campsite (less than 10 minutes by car). Adventure course in the heart of the pines: in these conditions, courses for all tastes! 4 Baby courses from 3 years old and several family courses (the Fisherman, the Climber, etc...)
Picnics will be part of the fun, thanks to the beautiful areas in the Cap Ferret forest.

Sandcastle competition: choose your beach!

Go with your family to enjoy the large expanses of fine sand and sun at the ocean beach of Grand Crohot, located 7 km from the campsite and easy to access.

Several activities await you: shell hunting, jumping in the waves, walking along the Atlantic coast or simply lying on your towel. In other words, enjoy the space!

However, if you prefer smaller, quieter beaches, you can also discover the beach of the bassin 3 km away: La plage de saint Brice in Ares, where you can swim with the whole family. Unlike the ocean beaches, there are no waves on the Bassin d'Arcachon.

Later, you can enjoy a day on the unique beach of Les Lacs (17 kms away). In order to enjoy a water temperature worthy of the Costa Brava! If you are afraid of the heat, you can go to the shade of the trees that border the lakes.
