The Dune du Pilat is not only visited in summer. Thanks to its staircase, you can climb to the top, depending on the time of year. Get to the top, for the bravest in the sand, breathe and open your eyes wide !!!!

Whatever the season, the Dune offers you a dreamlike panorama. A feeling, different colours. This natural space is always in motion.

For a unique moment you are at the top of the Dune du Pilat on the Bay of Arcachon and you can contemplate it. In front of you, the Banc d'Arguin nature reserve and the Cap Ferret.

These millions of cubic metres of sand are in perpetual movement. The height of the Dune du Pilat varies, depending on the wind, the tides and trampling. Nearly 2 million of you climb it every year.

Move away a little from the arrival area of the access staircase. Venture out onto the 3 km of ridge for an unforgettable walk. The further you go, the more you will be alone in the world. And finally, on the way back, walk along the beach of the Dune to retrace your steps. After a refreshing swim at the Plage de la Corniche, all you have to do is climb the Dune again, this time on the sandy side. You won't forget this walk !!!!

You don't want to face the "Saharan" walk on the Dune. No problem, discover it from above. By paragliding for example. Take off, accompanied or not by an instructor, for an unforgettable experience. Breathtaking landscapes !!!!!
